Pride month... I missed it last year, having arrived in July. I'm not sure if that was for the best, or if I'd have understood more things sooner if I'd witnessed it.

When I came here, it was strange to live among people who were so open about something that had been a shameful and ruinous secret for my entire life. I felt...adrift, surrounded by those living in a freedom that I hadn't dared to dream of for so long. Perhaps even a little resentful of the ease that everyone seemed to take for granted.

But reading about the history of this upcoming celebration...it's harder-won than it seems from the day-to-day attitudes of the people here, isn't it? Still fresh enough to revel in the defiance of it.

Are there any others here from places that were less welcoming? Sometimes I feel like the only one.

Only the BEST month in the whole year! As always the Vogue is going all out - we've got a showing of Juliet & during the evenings and after that? PARTY CENTRAL EVERY NIGHT!

Hey, everyone! Since we've got so many seers, we're trying something new this month to see if it's less strain on one person giving out a lot of prophecies for the coming month. We're each gonna say what we saw in our own words, and that way we're not praying that one of us happens to be free to give the announcement~

So I'll kick off this shindig!

[Venti clears his throat dramatically.]

The winds brought to me a Venetian mask. Literally. It hit me in the back quite rudely while I was on a date with my lovely fiance. I think they're getting jealous, so I need to spend some more time with them. It's either that or a wind demon of some kind hijacked the winds to send me yet another message.

[Viktor had all but disappeared after the excursion through the latest spirit gate; rarely leaving his house was not strictly unusual for him, but he'd withdrawn almost entirely for days. For him, a neceessity--solitude gave Viktor the ability to fall into the oldest habit of throwing himself into his work as a way to sort out tumultuous thoughts. Of which he had far too many, now.]

[But eventually, there was a distinct sign of life in the form of a video on the network: set up to show an open area behind Viktor's house, with a square foot of sheet metal set up in a way almost resembling a painter's canvas.]

I, eh...have never been particularly skilled with public presentations, but I would like to demonstrate what I have been working on.

[Viktor stepped into frame with a pair of goggles pushed back to his forehead, pulling on an odd fingerless glove of metal and leather. The shoulder not leaning on his crutch now wore a small pauldron, on which was mounted a thin third arm ending in three fingers.] The second iteration of an old invention of mine; the Hexclaw. It is a crafting tool designed for precision and dexterity, not only in its range of movement, but also in its secondary function.

[As he spoke, he slotted a light-elemental crystal into the back of the glove, twisting it slightly as one would adjust a dial. Once he had, the third arm began to respond to his movements, its own clawed hand twisting and moving as if taking careful aim at the sheet of metal--with a sharp motion of Viktor's hand, it fired a thin and bright blue laser, drawing a symbol into the material that burned bright orange as it began to slowly cool off, engraved with pinpoint accuracy.]

...Laser technology is commonplace in this world, I realize- [Twisting the crystal in the opposite direction to disengage it, the Hexclaw retracted slightly as if powering off.] -but a new innovation in mine. It needs some further fine-tuning, though I am optimistic that this is already an improvement over its previous version.

[He laughed a little awkwardly, a quietly huffed sound that ended in a brief cough against the back of his uncovered hand. Clearly unsure of just how to finish such a presentation, Viktor reached over and simply ended the video.]

This is the journal of King Herz Der Sonne. It's... it's an artefact from the world I come from. It's uh... kind of like a history book but with... secrets of Corona in it. Also people sign their names in it to proclaim their love for one another. That's- that's a whole thing.

Sorry I've gone a little radio silent lately, but moving happened and then I've been working on some stuff for next month. I'm bringing back the Vivillon stickers and keychains--

The ones he's focusing on include the progress flag, the bi flag, and one Vivillon keychain with the gay flag on the top part of the wings and the ace flag on the bottom.]

And yes, there's more than these, obviously. But anyway, I've got some new additions for this year!

[The camera pans to a selection of keychains and stickers featuring pride flag-inspired Alcremie--the colors of the flags making up their bodies, with either sweets in matching colors or in colors of a secondary flag; a number of trans pride stickers that feature shiny Nidorans of both genders, Sylveon, Hatterene, and... [Okay so whatever is going on with the ghosts and that gate? Awful, miserable, Lyney is not okay with any of this. He has in fact spent a few hours just sort of watching them, seeing his aunt and uncle and other people he's not really wanting to think about right now. And his cousin is hardly sleeping because of these ghosts, and who knows who else is getting distressed by the everything?

So! Lyney is going to do what he does best: ignore the negative feelings for now and focus on making people feel better. Performing helps him, anyway.

The video is just of him in his room, but given that it's Lyney's room it still looks a bit dramatic. He is not taking down his decorations, okay?]

So, I think we all are going to need a distraction, don't you? Therefore, I will be putting on a sort of preview show in a few days in Blue Fish Park! It'll be a sneak peak of my big pride show, plus maybe a surprise or two. No charge, obviously, but I might take donations for one of the charities I work with for my streams.

No, we don't know why specific world ruins are manifesting there beyond the basics: the souls of this world are reincarnated souls from previously terminated worlds. Not sure why or not sure how- really I recommend not thinking too hard about it unless you want to stay up all night having existential dread.
